Welcome! We are so glad you're here! First Church of God of Middle River is a contemporary, spirit-filled community of believers called by God to impact the Baltimore metropolitan area with the gospel of Jesus Christ. We emphasize a positive message of hope, faith, and power as we all strive to life successful lives God has called us to live. Though we have "First" as part of our name, we do not claim to be the first, best, or the only church of God. We use the word to better identify ourselves within our community. At First Church of God, you will find a friendly, caring, accepting, and loving environment where you will immediately feel right at home the first time you attend. Our services, ministries, and fellowship groups provide an environment in which relationships can be developed and strengthened throughout the week. A Growing Fellowship We are a place in which imperfect people are "growing together into Christlikeness." The services, classes, bible study classes are designed to build your faith and develop spiritual maturity. A Life Giving Fellowship Worship services are full of the life of God. The Holy Spirit is present to touch us with life giving power, guidance, and breathing strength, hope, and joy into our hearts. A Faith Fellowship We believe that our loving God is powerful, mighty, and still provides healing and miracles in the lives of those who believe in His promises provided through His word. We truly believe that "Nothing is Impossible with God!" A Fellowship for New Life Many people who come to church are seeking something that is missing in their lives, or to help them through a difficult season. We believe that no matter what you might have done, or what has happened to you, God will give you the strength and power to begin a new life of hope. |
